The ENERGIC-OD Project Conference, which will be held in Venice on October 21, aims to draw attention on Open Data favoring a comparison between some of the leading creators and data managers at national and European level.

Recent regulatory changes, which have affected the information society on a global scale, leading to a favorable situation of convergence of interests that is realized through the implementation of joint projects aimed at resolving common problems and widespread as the management of the complexity of systems spatial data and interoperability. The Conference, therefore, completely adheres to the ENERGIC-OD objectives by facilitating communication and the exchange of experiences and proposals that come from scientific research environments, public administration and international organizations MEPs to draw the future of Geographical Information and to expand the Open Data culture.
